In October 2013 my Aunty Kathleen passed away after a short battle with MND. This cruel disease can affect anyone and at present there is no cure. MND Scotland provide vital support services to families whose loved ones are battling this illness. Aunty Kathleen benefitted from the amazing support provided by MND nurses and with the added support of her 3 best pals, Mary, Stella and Isabel, she was able to remain at home among her loved ones until she passed away on the 8th October 2013.
