I have chosen to support Breast Cancer Care as it's a cause very close to my heart. My grandmother died from breast cancer and my mother is a breast cancer survivor. Last year I discovered that I am a carrier of the BRCA2 gene which means that I have an 80% chance of getting breast cancer in my lifetime.  

Last November Pink Wednesday at The Vine Restaurant raised over £3,000 for Breast Cancer Care and this year we'll be continuing our "fun" fundraising efforts by taking part in the 20 mile Pink Ribbonwalk at Petworth House, West Sussex on 11th June 2011. 

Despite having done very little training I'm really looking forward to doing the walk with my team "The Hiccy Chicks' in our tutus and raising lots of money for Breast Cancer Care but in order to take part I need to raise a minimum of £175 in sponsorship. So, I'd be really grateful if you could sponsor me!!!
