Story
Before Adam was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2014, at the age of 15, blood cancer was not something I’d thought about much and running any distance was not something I’d consider doing for pleasure. How life changes! Blood Cancer UK is such an important charity to our family now because it is a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. They do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, they’ve invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, the community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. Although it is sadly too late for Adam, the day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight.
