During Lockdown 2020 the number of people affected by domestic abuse has risen significantly - it is time that people stand up to put a stop to it. Refuge supports male victims as well as women and children, hence being my chosen charity. 

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner.
