I'm running 10k for Help Musicians UK. I have always loved performing and listening to music, so by raising money for Help Musicians UK I can help to ensure a thriving musical culture in the UK.

Evidence shows that low income, unsocial hours, irregular employment, working away from home and continuous use of the body in repetitve work can take its toll on musicians. The lifestyle can be stressful, especially for freelancers, and when things go wrong, such an illness or accident, life can quickly spiral out of control.

Help Musicians UK is here to stop that happening.
