Almost 2 years ago our close friends lost their precious daughter MacKenzie to meningitis.  This is a terrible disease which takes hundreds of young lives every year and has a devastating affect on the families of those lost.

On the 6th September our daughter Frances is doing the Mini Great North Run and on the 7th September I'm doing the Great North Run to raise funds for Meningitis Now in memory of MacKenzie.  This charity does great work in trying to find ways of preventing this disease and also in supporting the families of those affected. 

We'd be very grateful if you could help us raise money to support this worthwhile charity.
