Yes thankyou Judith I have left dennis's video!!! Applecross posting to home today thanks we wouldn't have known where to look!!! The couple we stayed with in dumfries has had a lucky escape since we left!! Dave was driving in his car and a young guy on a motorbike came at him on wrong side of the road out of. Bend and hit dave head on!! Only saves quick thinking prevent his self from serious injury the motorcyclist was badly injured.
Dennis lives in Kidderminster and has always had a passion for motorcycles. On leaving school Dennis trained as a car and motorcycle mechanic. He has thoroughly enjoyed working with and successfully racing bikes for most of his adult life.
Carole is a nurse who is passionate about her motorcycle and works only to ride her bike! Carole is very keen to promote advanced training and road safety at every opportunity.
Dennis has for many years wanted to ride around the coast of England, Scotland and Wales taking in the most Northerly, Easterly, Southerly and Westerly points of the British mainland.
These days Dennis rides a Honda ANF 125 which is ,reliable, fast and economical. Dennis bought a second ANF 125 so some unsuspecting person could accompany him on the trip!
The 15 June 2010 we start our adventure around the coast of England, Scotland and Wales including the most Northerly, Easterly, Southerly and Westerly points of the British mainland.
The trip will last 16 days and cover approx 3,746 miles

Dennis and I felt we would like to raise money for the Air ambulance trust because we motorcyclists know only too well that the air ambulance can be the difference between life and death when accidents and medical emergencies occur. The Air ambulance trust relies soley on donations from lovely people like yourselves.....your monies will help to keep our angels in the sky so please dig deep and thankyou in anticipation

Update: 18 May
Today Dennis and I have ridden together for the first time and have survived!! We rode from Kidderminster to Radar where I discovered my number plate had fallen off en route! Quick new one made from cardboard and off to Aberystwyth. No further problems! Lovely sunny day covered 202 miles Dennis reckons we may get 200 mile tank range once the fabricated tanks are insitu, this would be fantastic! Really getting excited about the trip now riding the scooter has made me realise that as long as you are on 2 wheels being propelled forward its great fun you do not need to be riding a big bike!!
Thank you to every body who has donated so far every penny is much appreciated thank you.
Well we have now raised £1157 its certainly very respectable thanks to you all!!! We are absolutely thrilled. We are being photographed on Tuesday by the local press so hope they get our best side!!

Saturday 3 July - gave up doing daily update en route as updating from iphone meant one couldn't see what was on the screen due to smallness therefore errors made!
There have been so many wonderful memories of this epic adventure not only all the amazing scenery but all the amazing and generous people we have stayed with and met along the way its people like you that make the world a better place and we are blessed all the more for knowing you!!!
There are people out there who have this narrow minded view that motorcyclists are some sort of under class !! They would be astounded to find how many professional people own motorbikes. We were reminded by landlords, shop keepers, hoteliers YHA staff how polite the motorcycling community are and generous with tips and how they never cause trouble, we were told so many communities especially in Scotland rely on the income we generate and we are behaved because 99% of us never drink and ride my husband and I included.
Dennis and I would like to thank the Chairman Barbara Stubbs from Hull IAM , Mike chairman of Cornwall IAM and Bob and Chris who gave us luxury accomodation in Cornwall. All the Worcestershire IAM ( Michael and I are members) who have donated and supported us. Ron and Brenda from Bakers estate agents Lower Gornal for the welcome champagne and generous donation.
Chadwick Bank garage for their generous donation and tin collection, Motorcycle Mart and staff who have helped with parts and generous donations.
