I am raising money for Christians Against Poverty who are an award winning, national debt councelling charity.

This service is free to clients and seeks to offer a holistic debt management and councelling service.

Debt is a major cause of family breakdown, stress and suicide.

One in nine households in the UK are struggling with unmanagable debt. This figure may well increase as the budget cuts begin to bite.

I volunteer at our local CAP centre in Chichester supporting clients and running courses in budgeting skills.

Too unfit to run for charity this year, a car sleep out seemed a cold but achievable way of raising money, and the profile of this very worthwile charity. Many clients have experienced the hardship of homlessness and being forced to sleep in their cars.

There will be a national Big Car Sleep out event in Leicester on Friday 22nd

I will be joining a group sleeping in our cars on Saturday 23rd October at Chichester Baptist Church.
