This year, my uncle Alex passed away after many years living with Alzheimer’s. My uncle Alex married me and my hubby David. At the reception I even managed to get him to dance with me (he was not a dancer)...but how could he refuse the bride.  He is at peace now but this disease continues to affect lives.
