Story
I'm running far outside my comfort zone to support a friends family who heard last September that their eldest son would die.
Several years ago J suffered a brain tumour that responded to treatment, and all seemed well. This summer pains returned again and further inoperable tumours had developed in J's spine.
How the family have coped is amazing. J has continued to go to school and work for GCSE's that he will never take. His parents continue to work and make the most of their time left with their son. They do not ask for sympathy and keep their sorrow to themselves. They nominated this charity as it had helped them through some very hard times.
If they can continue to survive with such sorrow around the corner, help me raise some money for a charity that can make a difference for families like them. Hopefully we will never have to make use of them!
The difficulty of my run is fairly insignificant in comparison.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I completed the race on Sunday in a time of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Thankyou everyone for your support. You can still donate if you would like. All donations will be very useful to the charity.
