Green Hill Arts in Moretonhampstead ( a wing of Moretonhampstead Development Trust) is a small community gallery who strives for excellence in the arts and has a record of outstanding outreach projects. 

I’m Carol Harvey, an artist and the curator and technician for this gallery. My challenge is to write a blog (https://carol4678.wixsite.com/fromdevontoscotland) on my journey from Devon to Scotland and back in a van; well what’s the challenge in that you might ask. Generally I am a visual artist with photography as my main medium, technology is something I avoid and find hard to engage with, writing is something I’ve never done so the combination is terrifying and traveling on my own in a van to Scotland, what am I doing!!

Those of us who have lived and worked Green Hill Arts over the past 10 years are devoted to its success, possibly obsessively but during Covid we have had a hard time managing financially. We believe that our gallery is a little gem and an asset to our community and beyond.
