Freddie was born with Pulmonary atresia with VSD which  unfortunately was not picked up until his birth. This complex heart defect means the valve which allows blood to flow from his heart to his lungs is completely blocked, meaning he has half a working heart 

He has undergone 3 open heart surgeries so far and is currently recovering from his 3rd. There is no cure and there is always the possibility he may require further procedures or even a heart transplant in the future.

He is an amazingly brave little boy who lights up a room with his cheeky personality . Since his birth the whole  family have been supported by this fantastic charity.

Little Hearts Matter is a national charity offering support and information to anyone affected by the devastating diagnosis of a single ventricle heart condition, children born with half a working heart. They work to support and raise awareness of the needs of these children and their families.
