This is the 7th cycle ride I have done to raise money for the Douglas Bader Foundation.  I will be cycling 400k through Rajasthan (North West India).  It will be very hot and dusty, the road conditions will be 'reasonable to VERY poor' ie LOTS of pot holes, like riding off road.

The Douglas Bader Foundation was formed in 1982 in Bader's memory after his death.  It seeks to enable and inspire amputees and others with disability, both children and adults. to acheive their full potential in adventurous activities e.g. flying, by arranging group days and giving grants.

I feel that it is particularly appropriate to be supporting the Douglas Bader Foundation in this year, the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britian in which Douglas Bader was a leading fighter pilot.
