Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. On March 29th I will be completing my first half marathon at London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Over the Christmas period I will be doing my utmost to go sugar free to raise awareness of coronary heart disease and the underlying risk factors such as diet and exercise. This is not going to be an easy battle over Christmas time as anyone who knows me well will know I have a fondness for anything chocolate and will never say no to the Christmas pudding or a few mince pies! I think the training for the race might be the easier bit!
My love for running started about 3 years ago and slowly over the years I have built up a level of endurance and stability. I can't say I will be quick and speedy but I am committed to finishing the race and look forward to the new challenge it brings and the lovely landmarks of London to keep me distracted along the way.
Hopefully you can spare the price of a coffee and a mince pie and support me in my first fundraising event.
Thank you and it is greatly appreciated!

A little more about British Heart Foundation
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
I have witnessed the life changing events a heart attack can have on their life and their families. Together we can make a difference. If we could donate some money to contribute to the work BHF, we would be helping someone in the world live their life to the full and maximum potential. !
