Dad/Gramps sadly died last year after suffering from vascular dementia. He was a larger than life character, full of energy and fun, who himself liked running. However dementia slowly changed this as he struggled to make sense of life and became confused and distressed. Helen and I hope that by running in his memory we can help others who may be living with dementia and the family members supporting loved ones.
