Hi.  Thank you for visiting my justgiving page.

On 18th September I intend to take part in The Great North Run.  Although I have completed several 10km events, this will be my first half-marathon.

I am doing this in support of our brave, strong, determined, go-getter of a son Chris.  Chris was diagnosed with bone cancer in December of 2006.  He had 7 months of Chemotherapy, and has had 6 major operations to date.  Today, after nearly 4 years of remission, he swims like a fish, plays Cricket and Badminton and is doing very well at school.

Sadly this is not always the case.  I am also running in memory of all the young people known to us, and very sadly lost to this horrible disease.

I know times are hard, but every small amount would make a huge difference.
