Story
My son Bradley Bennett was born at 25 weeks, weighing 1 pound 7 oz on 5 November 2004 . He was due on Valentine's Day and popped out on Guy Fawkes night. It was a big shock and he spent the first 3 months of his life in hospital . It is now 13 years later and we have an amazing, handsome, charming teenager who we are very proud of . We are so blessed as his prematurely has had no affect on his health .
I have been wanting to raise money for Bliss to say thank you and now the time has come for me to run the London marathon.
I’ve chosen to fundraise for Bliss because I want to make a real difference to the 95,000 babies born premature or sick every year. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.
