Story
Some of you may know, my mam was diagnosed with dementia 3 years ago, aged just 68. She was physically and mentally fit and well, independent, loved travelling, reading, walking and generally just life. It has been devastating to see this disease strip all these away from her so quickly and dramatically. I will be trekking 26 miles around Ullswater with 9 other amazing human beings on June 25th, dodgy knees and all, to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, who fund research into finding a cure for all forms of dementia and support those affected by it. If you could spare a few quid for a very worthy cause, I would be so grateful and you can tick off your 'do a good deed for the day' task. You can donate here on the just giving page, link below. Or if that's a hassle, cash (what's that?!) is totally acceptable. Thanks 😊
