Story

Welcome to my JustGiving Page helping me to raise money for my epic 172 mile bike ride in June. For some mad reason I've agreed to cycle the breadth of Britain using just my below-average pedal power. From Workington on the west coast of England, via the Lake District and Yorkshire Moors, I'll be finishing up in Whitby on the north-east coast 3 days later!

Anyone who knows me will know that my love of booze and late night dirty-chicken-stops makes me a very unlikely candidate for something like this. So all the more reason for my friends and family to show some support and donate to a fellow normal, lazy person, attempting to do something only the fit, healthy or stupid usually do.

If that's not enough to persuade you, I didn't want to do the sincere 'charidee' plea but I'm cycling in support of Help the Hospices who strive to provide the best possible care and dignity for terminally ill patients as well as providing support and comfort to the families struggling to cope with loosing a loved one. Hospices not only take care of people's physical needs, they consider their emotional, spiritual and social needs too. A good cause I hope you will agree!

Thanks for listening and wish me luck!
