Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. As many of you will now know, Carmel Ingram passed away on November 17th following her diagnosis earlier this year with Ovarian Cancer. Carmel leaves behind her loving husband Philip, three children; Christian, Glyn, and Denise, and her six gorgeous grandchildren Niamh, Eliza, Gretel, Estella, Freya and Elspeth.

In this past year, despite ongoing treatments and major surgeries, Carmel maintained a calm, positive outlook, continuing to live each day to its full and always with a sense of humor and continued optimism through to the end. 

Carmel spent much of her life caring for others, working tirelessly in both residential care and more recently the NHS. In keeping with Carmel’s wishes, we kindly ask that instead of flowers or other gestures of condolences, that you make a donation to Cancer Research UK to support this very worthy charity.
