Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
I am hoping to raise funds to donate to the Michael Sobell Hospice by running my first half marathon in September.
The Michael Sobell Hospice is run by amazing doctors, nurses and volunteers, one of them being my late Uncle Mick, who sadly passed away on 30th April 2018.
Those of you who were lucky to have known Uncle Mick will know what a wonderful, selfless person he was. He has left a huge void in our family. His life was not just spent looking after his family, but others who needed his help. In his lifetime he was a Samaritan, a Bereavement Councillor, a volunteer worker at the Michael Sobell Hospice and tirelessly worked for the elderly. It goes without saying that he was a fantastic man.
My aim is to raise funds in memory of my uncle to donate to the Michael Sobell Hospice in order to support the fantastic work they all do, from the Doctors to the Chaplin to the administration staff.
I would also like to say a big thank you for not just the wonderful care they gave my Uncle Mick in his last few days, but for everyone they take the time to care for at The Michael Sobell Hospice.
