Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 8th September I will be climbing Ben Nevis with the oh my GOSH team ! Its the first time i've ever climbed an actual mountain, although i've walked up some pretty big hills so hopefully that counts as good practice!
Im sure youll have all heard of Great Ormond Street Children's hospital and the great work that they do, so please, even if you can only spare £2 please donate what you can to help me reach my target of £900. Don't forget to add gift aid too if you're a tax payer!
There's a couple of reasons I am doing this climb -
Friends of mine have had to have their children treated at GOSH and what the teams there have done to change (or save) these children's lives, and so many others, is nothing short of a miracle. They have gone above and beyond, putting the children's wellbeing first - caring for them not just medically, but mentally and physically too - something that is invaluable to them and their families.
The second reason is more of a personal one, the date of the climb is very significant to me and getting to the summit of that mountain for such a worthy cause will also represent me facing my own personal challenges and pushing past them, and hopefully remind me that I can climb any mountain this life throws at me!
