Three of my wonderful friends; Ross Tinning, Gary Studley and Mark McCutcheon have organised a half marathon in memory of my dad. They will be starting from their homes, running through Wideopen, Brunswick, Seaton Burn and back.

My dad was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in early 2019 and he had recently been given the amazing news he was in remission.

Sadly he caught Coronavirus and after a long hard three week battle he lost his life on the 28th March. My dad was an amazing person and loved by so many; his happy smile could brighten up anyone’s day and I know it is not only me that will miss him immensely.

We have decided to raise money for Maggies Centre Newcastle - a charity which was extremely close to his heart. Maggies Centre is an amazing source of support for not only cancer patients but also their friends and family.

Any donation you could make no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
