Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Me and husband had to go thought IVF to have a baby, In 2011 I had my first round of IVF which was successful. However 13 weeks later I suffered a miscarriage which was devastating and broke our heart.
Then one year later I had my second round of IVF which was successful. In November 2012 my waters went at 28 weeks. I gave birth to Ellis two and half weeks later at 30 weeks 4 days. It was a scary time for me and my husband. Because I was admitted into hospital at 28 weeks i was told about Tommy's Charity when we had a show around the special care baby unit (SCBU).
After some research on Tommy's website i knew what to expect when Ellis decided to come into the world. Without Tommy's I would not of known about the levels of care, what the machines were in SCBU what my baby would look like being premature. This charity doesn't just give you information on Premature birth it help with stillborn, miscarriages and researches why this happens.
I was lucky when I suffered my miscarriage and having Ellis premature to have the support of my family and friends. Some people don't have this support.
