Story

I am fundraising on behalf of my local Cats Protection Centre in Mitcham. I am participating in a huge fundraising challenge next year which involves trekking in Nepal! I have always loved cats, growing up everything was cats, from my soft toy collection to Disney films to the real furry friends I had at home. After losing our cat two years ago I am now cat-less for the first time in my life and I want to give something back to help cats that need it while I can't have my own cat right now. I am also a massive hiking fan and climb mountains whenever I can, recently completing Scarfel Pike and the Fairfield Horseshoe in the Lake District.

**Update** I am doing a solo climb of Ben Nevis in September for Cats Protection as both a fundraising challenge in itself but also as practice for the trek in Nepal! This climb will mean I have completed the 'three peaks' challenge- although not all in the same day!

                                                        ***

***Update!*** In May I will be climbing Snowdon as a training climb for Nepal and alongside other Cats Protection fundraisers! We will be climbing the Rhyd Ddu Path which will be more challenging than when I've climbed Snowdon before and taken the Llanberis Path (and much harder than taking the train!). Tiggy is looking forward to seeing the porpoises in the sea from the top of Snowdon and completing another mountain challenge!

***Update!*** We made it to the top of Snowdon but it took 7.5 hours and it was the wettest and coldest I've been in a very long time! We had some drama but it was all worth it for the cats and kittens of Mitcham Cats Protection Homing Centre!!

                                                         ***

To raise my total pledge I will also be hosting Cat's Protection events -  more info to come soon- and I'll be collecting donations in my local area, prowling around in my cat mask.

Thank you so much for all your support to help me reach my target.
