Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Me and my best friend Kirsty Arnold will be walking the Basingstoke canal in one day! That’s just over 50km. We have done past challenges Henley etc for other charities but this time chose different ones that mean something to us personally. Kirsty has chosen Surfers against Sewage as this is something she is passionate about. Mine is coeliac Uk and below is the reason why. Wish us luck!
So as most of you know I was diagnosed with coeliac disease back in 2013 and it was a struggle. I didn’t know what I could and couldn’t eat and even now, I have to check everything I pick up, as it’s not all suitable. It’s so frustrating to go out as a family to eat, as you have to hope it’s safe enough to eat and if it’s not, the slightest bit of contamination can make me extremely unwell. It’s a cause that means so much to me and just by raising awareness is something. I have had to adapt to so much and so has my family. Please help to raise some money towards this charity that helps all ages with advice and tips for where to eat and what is safe etc in supermarkets.
