Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

There is still time to donate. My official time was 2hours  24minutes and 1 second.

It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done. After about 8 miles my knees, legs and ankles went on strike.

I was hoping to beat the 2 hr and 20 mins but I wasn't far out.

I would like to thank you all for sponsoring me as without your backing I would have given up after 8 minutes.....I don't want to see another hill - haha.

Once again thank you all VERY, VERY MUCH.

Cheers

Carl

I am running in aid of :-      Myeloma

What is myeloma ?

Myeloma is a type of cancer that develops from cells in the bone marrow called plasma cells.  Bone marrow is the spongy tissue found inside the inner part of our large bones. It is from the bone marrow that our different blood cells are produced.

Myeloma can develop wherever there are plasma cells.  So it can be anywhere in the bone marrow, including the pelvis, spine and ribcage. As it can be in several places, it is often called multiple myeloma.

Please sponsor me and help me reach the £500 target.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Myeloma UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me.

Thank you
