Inspired by my eldest son completing his first official 10k as a summer challenge, I have decided to take on my own challenge of running a half marathon and at the same time raise funds for the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. 

As the Director of Physics at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre I know just how much good work Clatterbridge Cancer Charity does to support patients treated at our centre. 

Fundraising has been really difficult for lots of charities over the past 18 months. This is my small contribution to the cause.
