Most people that know me know that my hair is my confidence....

However there are individuals in this world that sadly need it more than I do. On the 5th Nov I will be cutting off 10 inches of my long locks to donate my plait to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real hair wigs for children suffering with hair loss. These boys and girls across the UK and Ireland have sadly lost their hair to cancer treatment.

Although I am donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust, the money raised will be going to a charity which is close to my heart - Norwich & Central Norfolk MIND.

Over 6,000 people take their lives every year and in 2013 someone close to my heart made that decision to do so. What we know is that most suicides are preventable, and this can happen from the sheer simplicity of raising awareness that its okay to talk about mental health. The journey of a thousand miles, must begin with a single step.

MIND is a remarkable charity which provides help and support to those suffering with Mental Health issues and continuously campaigns for change to raise awareness and eliminate stigma.
