We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My good friend Lynne has been dealing with brain tumours and the associated side effects for 5 years now. Brain tumour research is drastically underfunded despite more than 11,000 people being diagnosed with a primary brain tumour in the UK each year.

Lynne, Alison and I will be taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on June 4th 2023 to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
