Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

CGF are taking on the Manchester to Blackpool 60 mile bike ride and also holding a Spinathon to raise funds for CRY - Cardiac risk in the young in memory of Mia Jennings.

Mia Jennings, who was just 19, sadly passed away after a cardiac arrest in January this year.

Mia and family are close friends to many at Carla Gilder Fitness so we naturally want to do what we can to help raise as much as possible in Mias memory. Mias mother, fellow CGF instructor and close friend will herself be taking on the Manchester to Blackpool 60 mile bike ride as well as instructing at the spinathon.

It would mean so so much to Louise and everyone if you could share and contribute if you can!!

Every week in the uk at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practise and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
