Story
Like you, we have been deeply moved by the unfolding crisis in Ukraine and so we are delighted to be taking part in the โJewels for Ukraineโ initiative in support of the children and families affected by the crisis.
Carla Amorim has designed and created this beautiful, one-of-a-kind ring in 18kt yellow gold, with blue indicolite tourmaline and yellow heliodor donated by Brazil's own Cruzeiro Mine, with a retail value of US$30,000, for one person to win.
All funds raised will be donated to the work of Hope and Homes for Children, a small charitable organisation with a mission to end the institutionalisation of children globally that is uniquely placed in Ukraine, Moldova and Romania to protect children and families right now, and in the aftermath of this war.

In the event that funds raised exceed what is needed to deliver Hope and Homes for Children immediate and longer-term response to this crisis, donations will be used where the need is greatest. Hope and Homes for Children is a registered charity No. 1089490
Hope and Homes for Childrenโs team in Ukraine has already been providing practical, life-saving support for thousands of vulnerable children and families within Ukraine and on the borders in Romania and Moldova. Alongside this direct work, they have been urgently advocating for the 100,000 children trapped within the orphanage system to be prioritised within the humanitarian response.
And as they urgently work to meet the immediate needs of the refugee crisis, they continue to provide support for families at risk of separation across the region.
Hope and Homes for Children was born out of the Balkans Conflict 30 years ago โ theyโve seen the long-term effects of war on children and families. Their work will not be finished, even when news of this conflict has died down.
