Story
Elsa is 8years old and alongside her having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, she was diagnosed with Multisystemic Mast Cell Disease in April 2019.
Little Elsa struggles daily with this aggressive and very symptomatic immunological condition. These symptoms include cardiovascular, dermatological, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory problems; all of which mean that Elsa has to take large amounts of medication and undertake several therapies to attempt to stabilise. Even then she can often be very unwell.
Despite a very controlled diet, restrictions to lifestyle and the use of
immunotherapy, Elsa sadly experiences regular spontaneous anaphylaxis which has seen her rushed to hospital critically unwell, too many times to count. Whilst Elsa has an incredible medical team there is currently no cure, hope for Elsa and others who suffer from this disease lies in extensive research and science.
To raise money for Mast Cell action I will be taking on the 4x4x48 running challenge. This will start at 2.00pm on Friday 19th August and will consist of running 4 miles every 4 hours at the following times until ending at 10.00am on Sunday 21st August

To say I am nervous about taking this on is an understatement, I have no idea how I will cope with dragging myself back out for another 4 miles for the 7th, 8th, 9th etc time, especially with so little sleep.
Any donation you can spare, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received
