Story
Welcome to my Justgiving page. I will be personally donating 10% on top of the final figure to BCH charity.
On the 3rd of November 2019 our family were hit by devastating News that our 8 year old son Carlos had a Medulloblastoma brain tumour.
On the 8th November Carlos underwent successful surgery and after 11hrs we were greeted by the surgeons who had amazingly managed to remove the whole tumour.
On the 16th December we were flown to Essen in Germany to receive 30 days treatment of Proton Radiotherapy along side Chemotherapy. Carlos spent his 9th Birthday, Christmas and new year here.
Carlos is now due to start his next course of Chemotherapy on the second week of March which will run until the end of November at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The care we have received from every member of staff at the hospital at such a difficult time has been overwhelming and we are truly grateful.
Any donations to support this fantastic Hospital continue to provide world class care and improve facilities for other families would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
The Quinn family.
