Fundraising is increasingly important to Suffolk Libraries. We have a huge impact in the community; tackling loneliness and isolation, helping to improve peoples wellbeing and mental health and offering vital free services to people who need them. The pandemic had a significant impact on our fundraising and income generation so were looking at new ways to engage people with our fundraising activities. Lowestoft Library like all the Suffolk libraries are partly funded by the Suffolk council, so donations and sponsorships monies are gratefully accepted to keep up the running costs.
