Leukaemia Care provides vital support, information and advice to anyone whose life has been affected by a blood cancer. We not only support patients, but carers and families too whose lives are impacted when someone they know and loves receives a diagnosis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 24th April 2016 I'm running in the London Marathon in aid of Leukaemia Care and have pledged to raise a minimum of £2000.

This will be my first attempt at running a marathon and I have chosen Leukaemia Care as my charity because I recently lost my Grandad to Leukaemia.

Losing a loved one is always a painful part of life but losing someone, who despite being 79 years of age, was full of life, whitty, inteligent, active and as spritely as a man half his age, even more tragic.

My Grandad bravely fought Leukaemia for approximately 12 months and received the best possible care, and this is why I have chosen to run and raise money for Leukaemia Care.

Thanks for taking time to read my page and please donate as much or a little as you can and help me reach my total. Every penny helps.

Thanks

Carl xx
