Story

I can't pretend I don't have personal reasons for wanting to register for this event. I have always wanted to swim "out there" and find out first-hand what is around the back of this majestic marine landmark, standing proud and mysterious in the bay at Marazion. This event enables me to take the adventure with safe escort.
But the opportunity also enables me to help raise awareness and financial support for an often neglected and overlooked male health issue and I feel priveleged to be able to put these two together in an awesome event.
I may even lose some weight along the way!

Update: because I am as yet not strong enough a swimmer as yet to face this challenge, Chestnut Appeal have kindly agreed to transfer my entry to the event next year, giving me another year to prepare and hopefully attract more funds.
