A group of us from the CTC Tuesday Evening Cyclists decided to challenge ourselves with this ride and raise some money for an excellent cause.  Sadly everyone is touched by cancer at some time in their life, and each of us have our own reasons for wanting to help those suffering.

Heart-breakingly, one of our cycling buddies' 25 year old son, Steve Croasdale, was in Clatterbridge Hospice receiving treatment when we signed up to this challenge.  As most of us are parents, we wanted to do this challenge in honour of Steve, his parents John & Wendy, and his courageous fight.
