I'm doing it all to raise money for Oxfam. Oxfam is a great charity working all over the world, figthing poverty and injustice and helping to give those less fortuate than us a fighting chance. In their own words:
'World change.. that's big. But not impossible if we all work together. Even the biggest problems can be cut down to size if we all make a stand and chip away. From drought-resistant vegetables to mobile schools, to raising houses above flood levels, the hard work never stops. With so much going on, in so many countries, poverty doesn't stand much of a chance.
It's a simple aim but a massive job. It is however a job that gets smaller everytime someone gets involved or puts their hand into their pocket and gives what they can. Living in Nepal has given me a chance to see real poverty first hand and the very real effect it has on people. More importantly it has allowed me to see the change charities like Oxfam bring to the lives of individuals and communities. Please give whatever you can and lets all help them continue this great work.

For more information on Oxfam and the work they do have a look at www.oxfam.org.uk. Just in case any of you are suspicious I'll add a disclaimer. Obviously I'll be paying all my travel etc. for these things, so don't worry, you won't just be funding a load of holidays for me.
