Take on the ultimate challenge this year and abseil off the edge of the Lister's highest building to raise funds for your local Hospital Charity!

Story

I am taking on the ultimate challenge this year and taking part in an Abseil off the edge of the Lister Hospital's iconic 11 storey Tower block to raise funds for the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity!

I have been working at the Lister for almost 19 years now and I will never forget the first day I arrived at the hospital and looked up at the building.  It still looks the same but the surroundings are different and the abseil challenge will give me a different perspective  going down the 11 storey building.

The abseil challenge is something different for me to do as a nurse. It will be scary as I step off the building but it will all be worth it because I believe in all the amazing things that the charity do to our patients and staff.  The month of May is also an important month for nurses as we celebrate Nurse's day and as a research nurse the International Clinical Trials Day.

Your donations and sponsorship will play a huge part in improving and enhancing patient care and experience by funding the very best kit and equipment, cutting edge research and special extras for patient
