Story
Team Cariad has pledged to raise a massive £10,000 for Isabel Hospice during the company’s 10th anniversary year.
The Hospice provides palliative support to hundreds of patients with life limiting illness, as well as their families across East Herts, but they would like to grow their services to reach even more.
Their care is free of charge to patients which means the Hospice needs to raise around £5 million every year to continue its vital role in helping people live well and die well.
Isabel Hospice is especially close to our MD Justine Perry. The Hospice looked after her husband Steve, with whom she’d founded Cariad, after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2010. Both Steve and Justine benefitted hugely from the care provided by Hospice staff until Steve died at the Hospice in January 2013 - it helped give Justine the strength to continue building up the business she and Steve had started together, and her experiences have helped shape the company Cariad is today. This is one of the reasons Team Cariad have set themselves such a big challenge.
Throughout our 10th anniversary year, Team Cariad will be organising a number of fundraising events. Check our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for details. We’re still looking for ideas and don’t mind making fools of ourselves, so feel free to challenge us in return for a donation!
Or simply make a donation just because you like us and want to support this great cause!
Don’t forget to Gift Aid it. :)
Thank you!
