CarePack UK have been fundraising for the last three years to provide essentials to individuals who need the most support during the winter.

The charity sources, produces and delivers backpacks filled with essential items and resources to homeless individuals and those who are rough sleeping across the UK. All of our items are selected carefully to support a homeless person survive harsh winter months with a greater degree of comfort.

Founded in 2017 as a personal project by Hootan Ahmadi to help rough sleepers in London, 30 backpacks were distributed by Christmas 2017.

Since then the Care Pack has upscaled thanks to the generous donations received over the last 3 years. With 350 bags packed and distributed in 2019 and a further 8,00 in 2020 we are looking to keep up momentum and distribute 8,00 more this Christmas 2021.

COVID-19 has been a difficult period for many, with rough sleepers using temporary accommodation. The rough sleeping figures are set to rise due to unemployment and the lift of the eviction ban.

CarePack UK hope to continue their work this year, providing support to the most vulnerable and fighting homelessness.
