With utter disbelief, I have only gone and secured a place to run in the 2018 London Marathon, to say I am shocked is an understatement, I believe a record number of 386,050 hopefuls applied for the run, so to be chosen at random is like winning the lottery, I am delighted, however feeling a little overwhelmed with the thought of the daunting task ahead...
I will be representing my beloved charity, Everton in the Community, changing lives of those living in our community. 2018 is going to be a massive year for our charity, we will be celebrating our 30th birthday on 1st February, so, there couldn’t be a better time to raise vital funds and awareness, all funds raised will be directed into those programmes who will be making a massive difference to lives of those less fortunate for the next 30 years and more...
Now, time to get the running shoes on, let the hard work commence, wish me luck, this is going to kill me...
