Hi all! 

Us Cardiff University students have decided to take the plunge and are signed up to tackle the Madrid 'Rock n Roll' Marathon this April. As a team, we'll be battling our way around the Spanish capital's gruesome hills and heat in support of a very special charitable organisation based in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. 

Ty Hafan; a environment nurturing children in palliative care and offering families the respite they truly deserve.  It is one of the leading hospice's in the UK for paediatric palliative care and since opening in 1999 has been home for over 1100 children. 

Ty Hafan is a place full of care, laughter and happiness to ensure that memories are made between loved ones and that those brave and courageous children in care can enjoy the life they have left in this world. 

The aid provided is completely free to those families reliant on Ty Hafan and every-year they rely on over £4.5m worth of public fundraising to continue the service. Therefore, with your help, we are going to raise as much money as we can to support this incredible organisation and the support they provide to the children of Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
