Story
I'm raising money to support Centrepoint's Emergency Coronavirus Appeal.
During these challenging and unsettling times, vulnerable young people need our support more than ever. Centrepoint's immediate priority is the safety and well-being of the young people they work with and to keep their services open. They are continuing to support young people through their free helpline for 16-25 year olds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, through their housing and support services to deliver practical and emotional support to over a thousand young people living in Centrepoint services across the country and ensuring access to food and other essentials, and through their health and well-being service which includes psychotherapy, substance use, mental health advice and dietetics and healthy relationships advice.
Why 110'000 steps? Because Centrepoint estimate that 110'000 young people face homelessness today in the UK. So I'm going to be attempting to walk 110'000 steps between the 11th and 17th of May. I'm giving myself a week, but if you want to get involved please know you can take the whole of May to complete the challenge!
Please donate whatever you can to ensure Centrepoint can continue providing these services to vulnerable young people during this unprecedented time. Thank you.
