In May 2014, Franco and Kath set sail from Holyhead, Wales aboard Caramor. Their amazing journey took them to Brazil, The Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Chile, the Pacific Ocean and New Zealand.
Along the way we made many new friends, met amazing people, visited beautiful places and learnt a vast amount about our world and oceans. We tried to share our experiences through Caramor’s blog blog.mailasail.com/caramor
Unfortunately Franco became ill while in Fiji during 2019 so we are returning to the UK, leaving Caramor in New Zealand. We hope to sail again someday.
Caramor’s mascot is the turtle which is why I have decided to raise funds for Sea Life Trust. To make a difference, I have set myself the ambitious target of £5,000. I hope you will help me.
All the best,
Kath
