Story
This month me and my lovely pup, Gibson will be walking at least 50 miles across the Wiltshire countryside to raise money for Samaritans. "Great, but why?" you might be thinking. Well, I've made it no secret that I have struggled myself with mental health in the past and it's something I will continue to battle my entire life. We all have friends and family that also struggle with it and it's clear that NHS resources are stretched during this unprecedented cost of living crisis!
But here's the thing, we all have "mental health" as much as we do "physical health" and whilst we are all under pressure, sometimes the struggle just gets on top of you and it might feel that you've nowhere to turn to. That's where Samaritans comes in! Samaritans is a charity that offers free support and guidance to people suffering from emotional distress or at risk of self harm & suicide.
This is undoubtedly a vital service and in order to continue operating they need support from us, so if you are in the position to spare a few pounds, to sponsor me and support this charity, it would mean the world!
