Story
I'm running the London Marathon this October to raise funds for a charity very close to my heart.
Every 27 minutes in the UK, someone is diagnosed with lymphoma. It’s the fifth most common cancer and affects children and adults alike. Most people who develop lymphoma have no obvious risk factors and the cause is unknown. Lymphoma Action’s mission is to make sure no-one faces lymphoma alone, supporting patients and their families through diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
This last year has been tough for so many people in so many different ways, but for those living with a serious or terminal illness it will have been unimaginably difficult. I would be hugely grateful for your support to this wonderful charity. Thank you so much.
I’m running this in memory of my lovely Mum, who I know will be with me every step of the way.
I'm also hoping my two partners in crime are going to spur me on and provide some company on training runs, although they don't seem particularly committed at the moment :-)
