Thanks for taking the time to look at my cancer research fundraising page.

I signed up to compete in the Virgin London Triathlon on a relaxing lovely sunny day last September. It was just after the 2011 Triathlon and I had seen lots of images of the race. For some reason I cant remember why (probably too much sunshine) the images got me thinking about whether I too could compete and possible cross the finish line arm in arm with Richard Branson, well maybe not the Richard Branson part! but definitely to compete.

The race will consist of three legs the first being the swim which I will be doing in groups of up to 200 people, apparently lots of people get bloody noses at this point from all the chaos, so Im really hoping the London Thames will be clear of sharks on the day!

The second leg will be the bike ride on my beautiful blue bike, Im probably going to be looking a bit rough at this point but at least my bike will be looking hot!! and the last leg is the run, my favourite NOT!!

Anyway In all seriousness I have been getting into some full-on training in the past few weeks as I realise this is one thing I wont be able to wing! I've started posting my training on my facebook page which you can check out to keep track of me.

I decided to raise money for cancer research as I feel that this is one cause that myself and my family have unfortunately been closely linked with, so It seemed only right to do something positive and raise some money for this cause.

One way or another I will cross that finish line on the 22nd September weather I'll still be on my feet doing it is another matter!

So please help spur me on and please donate some money,
