Sobell House cares for people in Oxfordshire at the end of life, offering specialist support to them and their families. It costs around £11.9 million a year to provide care in our hospice, hospitals and community. Your support helps us to treat every patient and family with dignity and compassion.

Story

Captain Kirby's Maidens are taking part in the Sobell House Hospice Moonlight Stroll to raise funds for this amazing place.  Caroline, Angela, Lisa, Louise, Julia and Veronica are the team walking as a thank you from John, Veronica's late husband, to this wonderful organisation.  The Hospice is an oasis for many families and it became a haven for John and his family but like all good things it takes a lot of money to run.  The kindness, time, help and dignity given to everyone is such a tremendous relief to all those who have to experience this life changing time.  The contact with families continues regardless of outcome and ensures that so many of us are helped to be in a much better place than could be hoped for.

We would be very grateful for any donation you could make towards our Stroll to help continue the fantastic work that is done there for not only the patients but also the families as well.

Alternatively you could send a donation from your mobile by  sending a text to 70070 and add the following text LOUB55 and then add the amount (either £1, £2, £5 or £10)
